We never see or store your bank details. They are entered directly with GoCardless, a regulated payments provider.
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. We record how you found us using
your browser's sessionStorage, which is first-party, holds no identifier, and is deleted
when you close the tab. Visitor numbers come from our host's server logs rather than from tracking
scripts in your browser. That is why you are not being shown a cookie banner — there is nothing
to consent to.
We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to marketing lists.
Enquiries that don't become customers: 12 months. Customer records and visit history: for the life of your plan and 6 years afterwards, which is how long we must keep records for tax and liability purposes.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email hello@solarmot.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If we change this policy materially we will say so on this page.
